**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our **Salisbury** team as a **Logistics Operator**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.

Working in our warehousing distribution centre, you will safely load and unload products ready for transportation to our customers. This is a varied role as you will be responsible for other aspects of our supply chain logistics such as shipment paperwork, coordination and the planning of loading the trucks.

**What’s in it for you?**
- start with a base hourly rate of **$27** **an hour** earn up to **$75 000k - $80 000k** a year (Inclusive of Base + Shift allowance + Rostered OT) plus superannuation and bonus
- work an 8-week rotating roster which consists of 12-hour shifts and 9.5-hour shifts alternating on a fortnightly basis
- only 4 shifts fall on a weekend in the 8-week period
- no night shifts
- rest breaks between roster rotations range up to 5 days

No previous experience in warehousing or operations is necessary as you will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

**What Will You Do?**

Whilst ensuring the safety of yourself and your co-workers, you will:

- prepare, configure and calculating the correct product loads to maximise vehicle capacity
- use radio frequency scanners to pick shipments and maintain accurate inventory levels
- despatch customer orders as per the delivery schedule
- load and unload trucks using a gantry crane and mobile equipment
- observe correct loading processes to ensure the quality of product is maintained during transport
