The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.

With work underway, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.

**The Opportunity**

The responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to;
- Active involvement in the tender process
- Coordinating key suppliers / subcontractors across the business
- Ensuring the correct procurement procedure is maintained across the business
- Establishing a strategy to maximise buying gain, ensuring a successful project outcome
- Process purchase orders
- Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager and liaising with other critical stakeholders within the business

**About You**
- Diploma in Commercial and/or Contract Law or relevant experience
- Prior construction project procurement experience including market enquiries, tender process management, financial and contract negotiations and Government funded project probity
- Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne - highly regarded
