**About Calamvale Special School**:
Calamvale Special School is a prep to 12 school catering for students with a wide variety of abilities. We have an unwavering commitment to placing the students firmly at the centre of everything we do. **Role**:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Assisting school-based speech language pathologists (SLP) in delivering multimodal communication supports to students.
- Implementing therapy plans and assessment under the supervision of qualified SLPs
- Providing support to students during communication support groups
- Collaborating with SLPs to develop and implement individualised therapy goals
- Supporting whole school activities: ie curriculum days
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining accurate documentation of progress and session notes
This is a TO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the TO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the TO3 once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of TO2 to TO3 classification range.
