**About the Department of Education**:
School and Region Reviews supports continuous improvement in Queensland state schools and education centres by providing leadership and oversight for the program of schools, regions and a range of emerging systems and place-based reviews.

**Your Role**:
**As the Program Officer you will**:

- Undertake specialist project activities to achieve the outcomes expected of the program.
- Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of program plans and phases, including the coordination of the various activities with achieving the program objectives.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist the Review Operations Manager to successfully schedule and support the delivery of school reviews across the State in consultation with regional directors, school supervisors, principals and the SRR Executive Leadership Team.
- Assist in the allocation process to assign reviewers to school reviews in consultation with the SRR Executive Leadership Team, including overseeing the contractual arrangements to engage external reviewers.
- Assist with the governance, administrative, financial, human resource and procurement processes as they relate to Review Operations, particularly around travel and expenditure claims.
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with a network of key internal and external stakeholders including principals, school supervisors, principal association representatives and colleagues from across the department.
- Providing high level strategic advice on policy, operational, governance and communication matters to ensure the delivery of the school review program using highly effective, coordinated and integrated programs, projects and resources.
