**Your Role**:
This role will be critical in supporting the program management of programs and initiatives aimed at creating higher quality, more equitable and inclusive early childhood programs, with a focus on kindergarten.
As the Principal Program Officer, you will
- Support the program management of evidence-informed kindergarten programs, projects and initiatives
- Prepare communications for a range of audiences, including briefing materials
- Engage in critical thinking and problem solving to achieve positive outcomes
- Demonstrate accountability for the management of key initiatives through professionalism, persistence and transparency.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of kindergarten contexts, including and understanding of the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline; National Quality Standard and Foundations for Success
- Expertise in program/project management, governance and reporting
- Experience in task management, project scheduling and working to deadlines
- Experience in building strong relationships and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders

Availability to undertake travel throughout Queensland
