Hours: Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight with an ADO

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

Location: Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital with travel across other sites required

About the opportunity

The Facilities Operations Manager of Health Services plays a key role in supporting the General Manager - Asset & Infrastructure by overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our Health Services sites across Victoria and NSW. This is an exciting time to be joining us as our services and facilities grow, particularly with construction of our new Emergency Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Responsibilities include;- Develop and manage operational budgets for facilities maintenance and improvements- Lead, train and supervise the maintenance team and foster a collaborative work environment- Coordinate site-based projects, including renovations and upgrades, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations- The role is pivotal for enhancing operational efficiency and providing a safe and functional healthcare environment for patients and staff

What you’ll bring- A Trade, Engineering or Health Management qualification (as appropriate)- Understanding of relevant healthcare regulations and standards impacting asset management- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of appropriate Commonwealth, State and Local Government legislation- Strong leadership and team management capabilities- Excellent organisational and project management skills- Current unrestricted drivers licence

To thrive in this role, you will also- Be resilient and able to work through challenging situations- Have ability to build good relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders- Work well under pressure, but are also proactive and able to still achieve medium and long term goals

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
