**About the role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be accountable for the supervision of Babcock maintenance teams on our ship, submarine and workshop facilities.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures and policies;
- Coordinating and supervising the conduction of planned or corrective maintenance activities in support of Waterfront support activities;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely activities and action in all areas of maintenance;
- Maintaining and recording safety inspections of equipment required for the efficient conduct of duties at Henderson workshop facility;
- Review of maintenance and technical documentation to ensure currency and accuracy;
- Providing feedback on Maintenance and quality processes;
- Providing support to production teams as required to ensure time, quality, schedule and profitability targets are met;
- Providing input into system engineering review to improve reliability, maintainability and availability of supported equipment;
- Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out within schedule and programmed time line;

**About you**

You have a professionally recognised qualification in a mechanical trade, with a high level of hydraulic and pneumatic system understanding.

You will also have:

- Understanding of quality principles and procedures;
- Understanding of submarine and ship systems;
- Electrical Qualifications (desirable); and
- Facility Security Management (desirable).
