**Our client is a successful, highly respected, progressive new home builder, based in Newcastle, NSW. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced, result-driven Site Supervisor.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This full-time permanent role is a point of contact for the new home construction projects, and is to actively interact and coordinate with clients, suppliers, tradesmen, labourers as well as apprentices.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Supervise the build of multiple new project homes in the defined area
- Site supervision and coordinating trades onsite, as well as subcontractors
- Regular site visits monitoring and ensuring the quality and WH&S standards are met and followed
- Communication and supervision of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the required quality standards are achieved; providing daily updates to the Manager
- Manage the projects’ schedules to achieve planned timeframes
- Adhere to project budgets, manage outgoing expenses and any potential variations
- Hands on approach with the willingness to complete general onsite duties and provide assistance, with the ability to actively resolve any project-related issues
- Customer service, maintaining regular contact with the customers on a weekly basis and update them on the progress of the projects

**ABOUT YOU**
- At least 3 years of experience as either a foreman supervisor, or site manager role; solid construction knowledge - preferably residential
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction; Builder/Supervisor’s license would be an advantage
- Previous experience working for a new home/residential builder is highly favourable
- High level of attention to the detail, ability to solve problems and prioritise tasks
- Reliable, hardworking team player with strong work ethics, well presented and professional
- Good communication skills and approachable personality
- Computer literacy with the ability to read and interpret project plans
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Holding a White Card and active Driver’s Licence
