How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?

As a Consultant, Decarbonisation, you will join our Advisory business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled sustainability and climate change specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across a variety of markets - from energy to transport, investment and policy advisory, infrastructure and water.

We are interested in professionals with experience delivering in the following areas:

- Aurecon’s decarbonisation team is growing rapidly, a reflection of our team’s valuable contributions to energy transition.
- Joining our team means working with a diverse range of energy sector participants
- We help major energy users navigate the uncertainty of energy transition, combining technical, commercial, sustainability and policy drivers
- We help the energy supply chain maximise transition opportunities and minimise transition risks
- We bring together a variety of technical disciplines, professional skills and digital tools to provide a distinctive advisory service for our clients
- This role will support all of these activities

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

Here are the key things required for you to 'bring ideas to life'.:

- Energy advisors, energy analysts and technical specialists
- either a commercial advisor with energy sector experience, or an energy technical specialist with advisory experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in the energy sector
- Broad analytical skillset
- effective and applied excel skills
- NPV / cashflow modelling an advantage
- contemporary approaches to communication across reporting and presentations
- Ability to network internally and access the diverse knowledge within Aurecon
- Intellectual curiosity, flexibility and creativity when solving problems for a client
- Preferably Adelaide based
- Specific experience with any of the following will be viewed favourably:

- Green hydrogen / ammonia
- Renewable energy generation or broader NEM experience
- Energy storage technology
- Due Diligence experience and familiarity with investor community
