**What you’ll do**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a National Sales Manager to join the Oncology team. Reporting to the Business Unit Franchise Head, you will be responsible for developing, inspiring and leading our Oncology Business Managers, specifically championing our account management business model to ensure that AZ Oncology is well positioned to deliver both our inline products and our future pipeline.

You will be responsible for delivery of all agreed sales and market share targets. In this national role there will be significant inter-state travel in order to achieve people management objectives.

As a National Sales Manager, you will
- Coach your team to optimise Oncology knowledge, account management expertise and commercial acumen of Oncology Business Managers
- Set measurable, clear goals and expectations and track progress
- Build knowledge and understanding of AZ's overall Oncology value proposition, develop and manage long-term relationships with the MDTs, DMUs, and other relevant senior stakeholders within prioritised accounts.
- Support business planning including account management, customer segmentation, and targeting via effective cross functional teamwork.
- Champion the evolution of our omnichannel journey by ensuring new capabilities and behaviours are adopted and embedded.
- Shape the Oncology sales strategy with BUH and OLT to deliver business objectives

**Essential for the role**
- Demonstrated sales leadership experience in a national sales management role.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to engage, coach & develop a team of experienced and high performing Oncology Business Managers.
- Deep understanding of Key Account Management principles and proven track record of developing and successfully executing compelling account strategies.
- Evidence of established relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in complex clinical environments.
- Demonstrated successes in building strong internal relationships through effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills
- Results orientation, accountability, strong business acumen and analytical skills to enable effective contributions to the creation and implementation of brand strategy and tactical execution.
- Oncology experience preferred.
