Delighted to be working with a highly respected name in the industrial pump industry, who are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead a team of 10 experienced sales professionals across Australia.

With an extensive portfolio of high performance pumping solutions serving sectors such as water management, mining, HVAC, utilities and general industry, our client is trusted by engineers, contractors and government authorities alike.

Reporting to the General Manager, the National Sales Manager will take full ownership of sales strategy, execution, team performance and market expansion across the country. You will be a natural leader who balances operational rigour with commercial ambition, someone who thrives on developing people and driving growth in a competitive B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of 10 Territory and Key Account Managers across multiple states
  • Develop and deliver on national sales targets across direct and channel partners
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors and distributors
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product and service departments
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to shape strategic planning
  • Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to drive accountability
  • Represent the business at major trade shows, industry events and partner meetings

What We Are Looking For

  • Must have proven leadership experience in a national sales or regional sales manager capacity in the pumps industry
  • Strong background in technical B2B solution sales such as pumps, fluid handling or engineered equipment
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing national growth strategies
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • A commercial mindset with a hands on, customer first approach
  • Ability to travel nationally as required
