Function Staff

Celeste Catering is currently looking for casual function staff members for functions at the Fremantle & Karrakatta Cemeteries.
The role includes setting up catering, working with funeral directors to ensure a smooth service and ensuring that we leave the cemetery condolence lounges clean and tidy.
The shifts are very flexible, and the majority are from Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm. Occasionally we get Saturday bookings, but again these are up until 5pm. The shifts are often between 2 - 6 hours long, depending on the number of functions booked on one day. We also operate at the Pinnaroo Cemetery and the ability to work across our three sites as well as obtaining a RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate) can largely increase the number of shifts rostered.
The role is very flexible and does not have set hours, days or times and due to the nature of our bookings, we cannot offer a set number of hours or days per week. Our current staff all work roughly 10-15 hours per week and our rate of pay aligns with the hospitality award at $30.10 per hour excluding superannuation.
