**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Develop and implement innovative initiatives, plans, templates, programs, procedures and policies.
- Monitor and evaluate plans, programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and review environmental assessments and supporting resources.
- Provide specialist advice and training.
The role is within Council’s Environment Management team, which comprises specialists in biodiversity and sustainability, collectively working to improve environmental outcomes across the Liverpool LGA.
**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful in the role, you should possess the following:
- Degree qualification in Environmental Management, Science or similar, and/or relevant industry experience
- Comprehensive experience developing or reviewing environmental assessments.
- Comprehensive understanding of emerging matters in relation to environmental management and environmental impact assessments.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting environmental legislation relevant to environmental assessments.
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental management issues (such as noise, biodiversity, water quality), and environmental impact assessments.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
