KNC is searching for a detail-oriented and conscientious payroll officer to manage payroll, process fortnightly payments to staff and to be point of contact for all payroll related queries. The position is part-time, two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) with potential of increasing the days in future.

**Responsibilities**:

- To process staff payments on a fortnightly basis within the necessary timeframe
- Communicate with staff members about any queries they may have about payment, and relay any issues to HR and management team if needed
- Confirm timekeeping records and liaise with employees if any discrepancies are noted
- Record payments in ADP software
- Ensure tax compliance and report employees' payroll information to ATO using ADP
- Handle employee superannuation and ensure accurate records of employee annual leave, long service leave and sick leave are kept
- Calculate and process employee deductions, benefits, pay increases, bonuses and overtime
- Reconcile salary packaging for employees
- Assess employee termination benefits
- Assist with end of financial year payroll processing

Skills and Experience:

- Experience in payroll preferred although not essential
- Experience in using ADP software preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrates good attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player and able to work collaboratively
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with regards to employee information
- Clear communication skills
- Can maintain calmness under pressure

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 16 per week
