**The role**

In this role you will provide high level functional support and advice to the business to assist in the delivery of quality tenure management services, including ensuring they are granted, retained and that there is tenure requirements awareness within the business.

The role in more detail:

- Responsible for ensuring permits are compliant with legislation throughout the full permit lifecycle from acquisition, exploration, development, production, rehabilitation and divestment or surrender/relinquishment to ensure ongoing operations and avoid any non-compliance penalties.
- Managing the accuracy and integrity of tenure management data within Landfolio
- Assist in the management of obligations as required with overlapping coal companies

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will come with an advanced understanding of tenure approval and compliance processes, together with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret QLD resource legislation.

MORE ABOUT YOU:

- Tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent level of experience
- Attention to detail and dedication to work through issues to develop practical and appropriate solutions
- Experience communicating with a wide range of internal and external parties
- Positive and proactive attitude in addressing and resolving complex issues
- Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently and positively to meet deadlines
- General knowledge of petroleum and gas industry, ideally with GIS experience
