A State Government Department is looking for a Communications Officer to join their team. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**

As an experienced a Communications Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies
- Develop and implement high profile internal and external events
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement communication programs and projects
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to work in a team
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate good organisation skills
- State Government experience
