**About the Role**:
**Duties**:

- To deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies and platforms including online.
- Develop high quality, current, industry relevant, evidence-based and copyright compliant online and face-to-face materials, lectures, tutorials and workshops.
- Deliver learning experiences to students in an authentic, relevant, engaging and student-centered manner. Using appropriate learning strategies having given due consideration to the length of the session, intended learning outcomes and needs of the student body.
- To communicate effectively with students and respond appropriately to their needs.
- Assist with the implementation, ongoing development and student support including clinical placement supervision in the Work Integrated Learning (Clinical Placements) program in collaboration with the relevant coordinators

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- A Master's degree in field relevant to Veterinary Nursing OR a relevant undergraduate degree and/or postgraduate qualification with significant experience in the veterinary industry.
- Current experience in veterinary clinical practice as a veterinary nurse or veterinarian.
- Experience in supporting the teaching and/or mentoring of tertiary students.
- Effective communication and organisational skills in order to support student teaching and learning
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to liaise effectively with relevant industry and professional organisations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti
- Discrimination, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) - mandatory.
- Valid National Police Check - mandatory.
