**Executive Assistant - Hunter Integrated Pain Service**
**Awabakal Country - John Hunter Hospital**

**About the role**:
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the HIPS Team Leader to achieve service delivery outcomes, including running reports, handling WHS, managing staff leave, and overseeing rostering. Support for the secretarial staff with the clinical workload, such as managing groups and outpatient appointments, is also a key component of the position.

**Where you'll be working**:
The position will be based within the HIPS, located at the lodge building at John Hunter Hospital, working alongside the clinicians and other administration staff to provide services to our clients. The HIPS is a multi-disciplinary service that works collectively to support patients who experience chronic pain through outpatient appointments. We provide advice and education to general practitioners in the community on how to support patients who are living with chronic pain.

HIPS is a very supportive and diverse team that includes clerical, nursing, physiotherapy, and psychology staff, along with doctors from anaesthesia, liaison psychiatry, and pain medicine.

**About you**:

- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant is preferred but not essential.
- You are a highly organised administration professional with strong administration experience and skills.
- You can work within a team environment as well as on an individual basis.
- You possess excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word, and the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- You have demonstrated self-driven capability in administrative support and are passionate about delivering services that make a positive difference to the community.
