Established for thirty-seven years our client, Russell Mineral Equipment (RME), is the acknowledged world leader in grinding Mill Relining Systems. As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), RME’s core competencies include quality design and manufacture as well as global distribution, after-sales service and mill relining and consulting services. Integral to the ongoing development of the organisation's technology suite, the opportunity now exists for a number of experienced Mechanical Design Draftspersons to join the team and be responsible for the creation of detailed drawings suitable for the production of high-quality mining-related equipment.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, and working closely with other members of the Engineering Department, in one of these roles you will (under supervision) carry out preliminary layout and design of various aspects of RME equipment and produce any detailed drawings required to progress any given part or assembly from 3D models to completed drawings, within defined time periods. In doing so, you may also be required to assist in the supervision, training and mentoring of Junior Draftspersons.

A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline will be well regarded and degree graduates are encouraged to apply.
