An international consultancy has an upcoming requirement for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their Brisbane team.

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work on some of Australia's largest mining projects and become specialised in your field.

Solid Edge and 3D design experience are a necessity so be successful in this role.
- Perform detailed works to cut fabrication time
- Perform the design and drafting of mechanical plant models using applicable standards
- Prepare 3D equipment modelling and 3D design
- Develop customised item drawings and engineering design details

**You will bring to the role;**
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
- Strong mechanical design experience
- The ability to produce parametric models
- Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid Edge experience
