An excellent opportunity is available for an engaging and talented Cellar Door Manager to join our vibrant team. A multi-faceted and hands on role, to be successful you will be a wine enthusiast and pride yourself on delivering outstanding customer service with an unwavering focus on sales within our cellar door and direct to consumer responsibilities. The Cellar Door Manager will posses a solid retail background paired with a strong drive to achieve customer service and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and training Cellar Door attendant

Maximising sales by engaging and educating our Cellar Door guests by providing an enjoyable, educational and consistent presentation of the products and associated merchandise

Converting wine tasters to wine purchasers;
Ensuring polite and friendly interaction with all customers, fellow staff and management; and

Providing active support and driving the growth of our Wine Club

Managing delegated administration and financial responsibilities including cost efficiencies, stock management, roster development and sales reporting

Achieving a profitable sales return on each interaction through providing tastings, tours and generating subsequent sales

Pro-actively researching and keeping abreast of industry data, news articles and trends

Visual merchandising and promotion of the Mitchelton Cellar Door in accordance with brand values

Promoting safe attitudes and work practices
