This Council’s Procurement function is one of the largest of its kind servicing a thriving local council remit and a range of exciting local major infrastructure projects. In line with an extensive growth trajectory and major project pipeline, they are looking to engage a purchasing officer to join the team

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for purchasing goods and services, provide assistance in ensuring policies and procedures are met. Additionally, you will assist in giving accurate advice to key stakeholders and working within a team to create successful outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will possess a demonstrated understanding of purchasing activities, be a strong communicator, you are able to create positive working relationships with key stakeholders and have a sound knowledge in ERP system; SAP or similar.
