**About the Role**
This Account Manager role is part of our exciting South East Queensland growth strategy in the detached housing and lowset multi-residential markets.
Your primary focus will be to generate new customers for Timbertruss, as well as maintain and build relationships with a portfolio of existing customers.
Reporting to the Queensland Sales Manager, this full-time position operates out of our Brendale location working Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented person who has a proven track record of sales and account management experience and excited by a challenge. Experience within the building materials industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: _
- Generate new customers through active prospecting.
- Undertake a regular call cycle with prospective and existing clients.
- Gather market and competitive intel.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, with a focus of increasing share of business.
- Accurately complete all sales documentation.
- To be successful in this role, you will require the following: _
- Proactive and self-motivated sales mindset.
- A natural ability to build rapport with people from varying backgrounds.
- Determined and goal oriented.
- Strong competency to use computer systems efficiently and accurately, including use of customer data base, Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence.
