**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Position**

Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our road maintenance team.

**To be successful you will bring**
- Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council's values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
- Demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides, including roadside vegetation management, concreting and finishing, pipe laying and sign installation.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various items of minor plant and equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in and ability to perform a range of physical labouring duties.
- Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission.
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).
- Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces, excavations and at heights.

- A salary range of $57,400 to $65,900 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
