**Due to an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting an **Assistant Village Manager**to work closely with the Village Managers across our villages in Byron Bay, Ballina and Goonellabah. It goes without say, as well as the requirements below, you've got to have a genuine commitment and passion about working with our residents

**This is a part time role: 3 days per week (22.8 hours) - flexible on days**

**A bit about your new role**:

- Assist the Village Manager with day-to-day tasks including resident liaison, dispute resolution, resident issues, document preparation, resident welfare support and ad hoc tasks and projects
- Record and respond to complaints and incidents
- Support in all administrative duties as requiredWork collaboratively with other stakeholders of the business
- such as Property, Finance, Maintenance
- Communication, both written and oral including drafting of correspondence and notices for the Village
- Support and implement the vision, objectives and policies of the organisation
- Adherence to RSL LifeCare policies and procedures
- Present in a positive and professional manner always; you are the face of the village

**A bit about you**:

- Previous relevant experience in a customer-focused role
- Excellent people and communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to interact with residents with respect and empathy
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quicklyA good understanding of the Retirement Villages Act is beneficial
