**About the Role**:
The role of the information officer is to:

- Enter data from production plod cards into production accounting system from previous 24 hrs
- Drill and Blast
- Development
- Load & Haul
- Vent / Services
- Backfill
- Surface ore trucking etc
- Add new headings from Deswik (mine planning software)
- Add new stopes from Deswik
- Produce various reports using the entered data

**About You**:

- Highly organised
- Able to work well with other people
- Understand work processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office - Specifically word and excel
- Strong attention to detail

Other information:

- The information officers generally work a 10-hr day (6am to 4pm).
- The roster usually starts off as being 5:2 roster for a period of time (maybe 4-weeks) for training up the person in the role, and have an opportunity to work across both crews, then move into a 7:7 D/S only roster.
