**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Conduct site inspections for current action referrals and any compliance checks for removals of overhead services (electricity)
- Sourcing assistance for field checks from Zinfra planners and Zinfra on site location requests
- Liaising with new connections, distribution businesses and councils
- Field inspections to determine site conditions, location of supply points etc
- Identification and reporting of missing assets (such as pole to pits) that are not recorded in the GIS
- Updating of subdivision database

**About You**

You will be a self-managing and accountable individual who possesses well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to make decisions and to work both as a team and autonomously. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands will also see you succeed in your new role, along with the following:

- Prior experience in the electricity industry, ideally in electrical distribution and the capture of asset information
- A background in surveying is desirable
- Prior experience in the use of GIS. Prior experience with SAP is desirable
- Someone who actively seeks to understand our customers and keeps safety at the centre of everything they do
- A current driver’s license is required
