**About the role**:
The National Trust is seeking Customer Service Officers to support our retail team, while helping us to grow our impact and reach across communities in Victoria. This retail role will be working from the historic Block Arcade in the Melbourne CBD. Here you will be working with some of the finest vintage clothing, and ensuring visitors to our store have a great experience. You will provide administrative and customer service support. You will be highly motivated, energetic and well experienced customer service professional. This role will work predominately on weekends.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Provide a high quality, best practice standard of service to all customers
- Operate POS, cash and EFTPOS systems
- Administrative duties
- Provide assistance to visits in our retail spaces
- Act as a visitor information resource
- Oversee visitor experience management
- Be responsible for the security and safety of the property and staff
- Venue hire and group booking coordination
- High level of customer service

- You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs, we aim to release rosters two weeks in advance.
- You have the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- You’re willing to follow processes and solve problems.
- You’re willing to work under pressure and comfortable working alone.
- You have excellent time management skills and can make decisions quickly.
- You maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving issues.
- You have availability on weekends.
