Disability Support Worker/ Mentor

Adventure Team is seeking new disability support worker/mentor to join our growing team on the Gold Coast, QLD. We are advertising for a support role with availability for an immediate start.

**About Us**

Since forming in 2019, we’ve grown from a team of 2 on the Gold Coast in Queensland to many, and we are in the process of expanding our services further. We are a disability support company, helping people living with disabilities through providing mentoring, group and respite services. As a team we are strongly driven to help others and offer personalized services centered around pushing boundaries, building hobbies and routine, and encouraging adventure.

**About the Opportunity**

We need a mentor to provide support 1-3 days per week. We are particularly looking for a mentor to provide support with activities, groceries and meal preparation.

Positions are casual roles offering a competitive starting weekday rate ranging from $31.76 to $40.43 p/h (+ super), depending on experience.

As a mentor, you will be supporting our clients with daily living and community access. We provide support in a variety of settings covering a broad range of needs and we work to ensure we match you, your interests, availability and skillset to the right person.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencing work
- Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current, non-restricted open drivers licence or non-restricted provisional licence
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Strong verbal communication skills
