**About Hunter Executive**

**The opportunity**
We are currently working in partnership with a leading company who design, manufacture and distribute cleaning technology products worldwide to several different industries including Transport, Retail, Hotels, Hospitality, Facility Management, Building Services, Health and Age Care.
Our client has been established for over 45 years and were the first to create game changing technology and products for the cleaning industry, they plan to double the business in 5 years.
Due to a planned, structured expansion, they have an opportunity for a Head of Sales who will support the growth agenda of their local and international business; by actively identifying and securing new customers and business opportunities, particularly across Australia, UK and Europe.
The position will manage a team of five and lead the Sales structure and growth strategy for the business globally.
**The Person**
You will have considerable business development or sales management experience working for an international distributor and ideally a network / solid knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry.
You will also have strong commercial acumen, be a strategic thinker with demonstrated experience growing sales both traditionally and online.
With a high-quality product that often sells itself, this company requires a hands-on sales expert who can not only develop new business but is also happy to roll their sleeves up and work with the team to deliver a result.
**The 'Ideal' person will have**:
- Business strategy development, deployment, and monitoring experience
- Experience in driving growth in sales volume and revenue generation ideally in excess of $30 million AUD
- High level of commercial acumen with the ability to understand financial reports, forecasting, budgets
- Strong people leadership and engagement skills and ideally previous experience leading a geographically diverse sales team
- Financial performance management including trend analysis and opportunity improvement
- Good networks, relationships, and experience across Australia, UK, Europe and America
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of digital marketing and online sales
- Strong critical and analytical thinking and interpretation capability
- Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is ideal
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Determine, implement, review and evaluate the sales division's budgetary and financial position, strategies, policies and plans in consultation with the General Manager
- Drive growth in sales volume and revenue generation via traditional sales and online sales to double the business in 5 years
- Accountable for the division P&L including achievement of overall revenue and profit targets
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5 located across Perth, the UK and Europe
- Participate and support the monthly and yearly budgeting
- Oversee the preparation of finalising reporting that summarises and forecasts the division's financial division
- Manage the collection, analysis and review of relevant data to inform sales strategy development
- Identifies, and manages the assessment of, new business opportunities aligned with the strategic growth plan objectives and initiatives
- Develop and maintains relationships with partners, suppliers, vendors, customers and existing customers
- Foster and establish relationships with prospects and markets within the industry through active participation in seminars, expos, tradeshows, events, forums and briefings
- Sourcing and developing new business with new customers and increasing sales with existing customers
- Pre-tender development of individual projects; the bid process for new customers including coordinating pricing and tender preparation to review stage
- Oversee the pre-contract and pricing process from pre-qualification to tender preparation and submission
- Develop and prepare short
- and long-term divisional business plans in consultation with the broader executive team
- Regular travel to Europe and the UK an approximate average of 30%, but some periods of higher intensity
