Permanent Accounts Payable role with a fantastic organisation in Melbourne's western suburbs.

**The Company**

The organisation are a highly regarded industry leader based in Melbourne's western suburbs. They will provide initial in office training for this position then offer at least one day per week from home once induction is complete. This role is ideal for anyone who lives in or around the west or north-western suburbs of Melbourne and would prefer not to have to travel into the CBD.

**The Role**

You will work under an experienced Director and will take on an end-to-end Accounts Payable role that offers challenge and variety.

Some typical duties will involve:

- Maintain Supplier accounts details/records
- Reconcile Supplier statements
- Manage new supplier requests including checking GST status via ABN lookup
- Prepare invoice batches for data entry
- Process supplier invoices
- Process EFT requisitions
- Process staff reimbursements
- Perform cancellation requests
- Raise necessary purchase orders
- Assist with monthly allocation of corporate credit card expenses
- Review outstanding purchase orders
- Assist in monitoring and actioning shared mailboxes for Payables
- Assist with month end processing
- Assist with audit requirements, providing documentation and substantiation
- Highlight when shortfalls in processes/procedures are identified and make recommendation for improvements

This position is moving quickly, and interviews will likely take place throughout late May.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in accounts payable with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- High volume processing experience
- Comfortable traveling to the western suburbs
- Long-term working rights in Australia
- Warm, friendly personality
- Good excel skills
