**Where you come in**:
In this full-time permanent position, based in our Bowral Op Shop, you will be responsible for growing and developing the business. You will lead by example to drive sales and achieve KPI targets, as well as building and nurturing a co-operative group of individuals who together form a vibrant and enthusiastic team. You will be an integral part of our Retail team and report to our Area Manager.
- You will make an impact by: _
- Leading your diverse team of volunteers to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve store targets
- Providing ongoing support and training for your volunteer team
- Developing and supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activities within stores
- Managing the volunteer roster and working with the Volunteer Manager to ensure shifts are covered
- Training, mentoring, and inducting your team of volunteers
- Supporting the retail team to achieve goals and deliver maximised profits to Save the Children Australia

Position Description - Retail Store Manager

**Key Areas of Accountability**

**Sales and Customer Service**
- Ensure store budgets are met by achieving targets and managing controllable expenses
- Provide and maintain high levels of customer service in line with Save the Children customer service standards.
- In conjunction with the Visual Merchandiser, develop, drive and support local and National marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Authorise exchanges, refunds, voids and team member purchases
- Ensure that all sales are processed immediately and accurately through the POS
- Regularly visit competitors to identify promotional opportunities and competitor activity
- Ensure Save the Children merchandise and information is readily available to Customers
- Manage customer complaints and feedback
- Assist with Garage Sale events as required

**People**
- Undertake Volunteer Induction and Retail Safety & Security Induction for all new team members
- Ensure team members provide an accurate record of start and finished times on sign on sheet
