**The opportunity**

Vacenti is seeking a Full-time Assistant Facility Manager to join the Clinical Team at Marebello - Victoria Point, QLD_. _Reporting to and working closely with the Facility Manager, in this role you will provide leadership, direction, mentoring and management to all staff in a support role to the Facility Manager.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Building and maintaining professional relationships with staff, management, residents and their families and key internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading teams in the Vacenti Way in each interaction.
- Undertaking a range of management activities within the Home.
- Supporting and learning from the Facility Manager in an ad hoc capacity as needed.
- Operational support for project implementation at site (when needed).
- Growing into a future Vacenti Facility Manager.

**To be considered, you will need**:

- Minimum Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
- Valid AHPRA Registration.
- Three years’ experience in a senior management role in aged care.
- A personal philosophy and practical approach that is compatible with the Vacenti values which ensure respect for the dignity, privacy and individuality of residents and staff.
- Detailed knowledge of Aged Care legislation including the Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation process, Australia National Aged Care Classification AN-ACC, electronic care management systems and OH&S legislation.
- Proven management and team leadership skills and working knowledge of personal care and resident lifestyle requirements in Aged Care and continuous improvement.
- Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills.
- To be considered for this opportunity you must have the right to live and work in Australia. If you are successful, you will be required to obtain a national police clearance prior to commencement.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
