**About the opportunity**

Our incredible Actuary Pricing team have an exciting new opportunity available for a Graduate who is looking to embark their career within the Actuarial space.

The Actuary Pricing team provides advice to the business on matters relating to health insurance pricing and product development. This role will focus on maintaining, enhancing and building new profitability monitoring systems and processes, and preparing data and ad hoc analyses to enable the generation of actionable insights and to drive better decisions.

This role will play an integral role in supporting the Actuarial Services at Medibank to meet its obligations and contribute to the success of the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity where you will be guided and supported by our talented team to assist with the following:

- **_Data -_** Data champion for the team. In addition to collecting and analysing data, monitor and maintain its quality and help define standards and procedures for using these resources
- **_Product monitoring_** - Responsible for timely delivery of regular monitoring reports. Perform investigation and escalate adverse trends to Actuarial Leads and/or key stakeholders as required.
- **_Maintain and improve the pricing artefacts_** - Maintain and ensure pricing artefacts/analyses are robust and accurate, and are responsive to evolving needs. Support continuous improvement across the team (e.g. automation).
- **_Develop insights for pricing and product development_** **- support ad-hoc analysis that affect pricing and product development to provide insights that will drive sound business decisions.

**What we are looking for**

We are open to Graduates who have tertiary qualifications in Actuarial, Commerce, Information Systems, Analytics or Mathematics.
