PCYC NSW is a life changing charity, established in 1937, that works in partnership with community and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life, and reduce and prevent youth crime. Over 100,000 people are members at 66 PCYC locations around NSW.

As part of the People & Culture and Payroll Team and play a critical role in supporting all things HR & Payroll advisory, admin and operations ensuring a high level of support and expertise is provided to our 66 Clubs and all staff throughout NSW.

**About the role**

People Admin/Advisory:

- Support the full employee life cycle which will include onboarding, new starter setup and payroll profile set up, new starter documentation, set up on employee benefits and other relevant system access as required), processing of all termination and offboarding requests.
- Provide advice on people queries sent to the People and Culture team inbox relating to HR Polices, pay, leave entitlements, employee benefits, salary queries, recruitment, and employee change requests, with support from the People and Culture Business Partners
- Manage and provide support on all people Admin tasks: Employment contracts and action variation requests for new and existing employees via DocuSign, to include salary increases and changes, letters, and employee stakeholder management.
- Support with ad hoc HR reporting requests - new employees, terminations, position changes, payroll records and summaries
- Support People and Culture Business Partners and the wider team with any people change or related matters as required.
- Support optimisation and automation projects across our of our people and systems

Payroll: Admin/Advice
- Provide support and assistance to the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate provision of Payroll services which includes supporting the Payroll Manager with processing the fortnightly payroll.
- Act as the first point of contact for Payroll related queries and ensure that consistent, timely and accurate information is provided to Management within the business units on the full range of Payroll functions.
- Acting as the back-up for the Payroll Manager when they are on leave.
- Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll related queries and ensure that consistent, timely and accurate information and advice is provided.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience in a HR/Payroll position with a passion for making a difference.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organisation both internally and externally.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Have some experience in working with National Employment Standards (NES), Awards & Enterprise Agreements
- Have sound knowledge of the Fair work Legislation and AU Payroll laws.
- Ideally to have experience using TechOne or other payroll systems.
- Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Intermediate excel skills.
