**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Mandarin-speaking Disability Support Worker in the Clayton area. This is a casual position offering flexible work arrangements.

The participant support requirements may include:

- Personal care
- Transportation
- Community access
- Activities of daily living
- Independent living skills
- Support to achieve their NDIS goals

**Myxa Care** is a registered NDIS Service provider assisting people with disability, their family, and carers. We deliver individually tailored services to maximise participant choice and control. We aim to support our participants to empower them to achieve their goals and live a full life.

**About you**:

- A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- Experience supporting NDIS participants with a psychosocial disability
- Proficiency in Mandarin
- The ability to communicate effectively and respond appropriately to the needs of people living with a disability
- Strong skills in incident report and case note writing
- A valid First Aid Certificate
- A Driver’s Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia

Pay: From $32.79 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Evening shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
