Our Sports and Activities team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Children’s Activities Gymnastic Assistant to our Customers at the Mandurah Aquatic Recreation Centre.

As a Gymnastics Assistant you will help to deliver effective and enjoyable children’s Gymnastics classes and encourage positive participation of children in a safe and inclusive environment.

**What can you bring to the team?**
- You will be responsible for:_
- Assisting and supporting the Sports and Activities team in Children’s Programs
- Delivering a fun, safe and stimulating environment for children
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work with mínimal supervision
- Always maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
- Ability to supervise and motivate other people
- Excellent personal presentation
- Assist in the setting up and removal of all necessary equipment as required
- To be successful you will have:_
- Previous experience in gymnastic would be essential
- A good level of physical fitness
- Previous experience in the provision of children’s or adult’s leisure, sport and recreation activities and programs
- Availability to work split shifts morning /afternoons
- A passion for working and engaging with children aged up to 12 years
- Organisational and time management skills
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Senior First Aid Certificate

**The finer details**

This Casual Level 1-2 role has a current pay rate of between $21.94 - $36.67 (dependent on age and skill level)
