**About the role**:
Based at our Southern Head Office in Mandurah, the Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator is accountable for driving and continually developing the purchasing of all stock/products through effective and efficient decision-making, accurate administration controls, and negotiation with suppliers, resulting in a process that meets contractual requirements and logístical challenges.

Supporting the Regional Management team across 6 Strategic Business Units, all located in the Northern region of Western Australia, such as Broome, the Pilbara, and Geraldton, this newly created role offers you the opportunity to make a genuine step-change in the departments’ operational discipline and workflows. With flexible working arrangements, some travel is required to liaise with key stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.

**About you**:
You will have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersed business to maintain clear and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders, ideally within a waste management or transport & logistics environment.
- Proven ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers/suppliers.
- Sound time management and good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated achievements that are well-disciplined, task-focused, with a strong sense of timeliness.
- Perform low-level pricing negotiations with suppliers.
