**_ What you’ll be doing_**

The primary purpose of the Project Officer, Impact and Partnerships is to co-ordinate, execute, implement and support the operations, monitoring and evaluation of the Cancer Institute NSW’s impact & reporting program and partnerships and to facilitate effective delivery of programs and research projects in line with Divisional and Institute objectives.

The Project Officer, Impact and Partnerships will provide administrative and project management oversight of the Institute’s Partnership and Research Impact Program. This role will be responsible for the:

- Monitoring and reporting of the progress of partnerships and collaborations established between Cancer Institute NSW and various stakeholders.
- Contributing to the development of the Cancer Institute NSW research impact reporting program including establishing administrative procedures and policies to facilitate the program.
- To develop and maintain administrative systems to enable the monitoring and report surveillance of grant and project outcomes, tracking performance, addressing challenges, and ensuring milestones are met via the impact reporting program.
- Use grant management tools to maintain accurate records, track community outcomes, and produce clear, transparent reports for stakeholders and funders.

In addition to base salary:

- 11.5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

**_ Essential requirements_**
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent and relevant professional experience and training.
- An understanding of the NSW and or federal health system including a knowledge of relevant trends, issues, policies and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver and meet project objectives and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
