Our client is a government health agency, seeking to engage a Project Officer to work within a team that supports the implementation, management and monitoring of a diverse range of projects for the NSW Cervical Screening Program.

**About the Role**
The Project Officer coordinates all projects and ensures company resources are utilised appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage assigned projects to ensure they are undertaken effectively, within scheduled timeframes, quality standards and on budget.
- Collaborate with team members to commission and execute contracts and grants with external agencies, including preparation of procurement and tender documentation, evaluation and contract preparation.
- Develop, maintain and foster effective networks, relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Requirements**
- Experience managing competing priorities and resourcing and delivering multiple project outcomes within tight time frames.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent, and relevant professional experience and training.
