**What you'll be doing**

Based in Box Hill, you will work with the Substance Use Recovery Southern Melbourne (SURe) program to:

- Provide accessible, high quality, therapeutic AOD counselling and associated health services to the target group;
- Reduce AOD related harm to individuals and their families to promote recovery;
- Identify a range of co-occurring mental health, social and primary health issues associated with substance use, and to provide integrated and collaborative counselling and support to address these;
- Deliver a welcoming, hopeful, strength-based, family-inclusive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally appropriate, dual diagnosis capable service.
- Utilising MARAM and trauma informed frameworks support individuals that are experiencing, and using family violence.

**Who you'll be working with**

You'll be working with a dedicated team of professionals within the Substance Use Recovery (SURe) program, passionate about helping people within the community to take further steps towards their recovery.

**Qualifications**:
**Who we're looking for**
- You'll have completed an appropriate tertiary qualification in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology and/or AOD related field (degree or higher).
- You will have provided counselling to individuals, families, groups for both voluntary and mandated clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance-use related disorders.
