**Your new role**
We are looking for a **Trade & Retail Account Manager** to join our Sales team on a **permanent, full-time** basis. Reporting to our National Business Manager, you will act as the front-line ‘face of GWA’ to our trade & retail customer base and maintain, increase, and promote GWA product ranges.
Managing our **Sydney** territory, you will have a wide remit which includes but is not limited to:
- Executing relevant strategic business and promotional plans to provide sustainable revenue/gross margin growth, all whilst developing, strengthening, and growing relationships within your region.
- Managing customer accounts and business relationships with key senior managers within merchant chains.
- Identifying opportunities for business development and implementing sales strategies and initiatives to maximise sales and margin growth.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers to ensure sell through of GWA products are maximised within the allocated territory.
- Supporting the broader NSW sales team in trade shows, trade nights, home shows and merchant sales where required
- Ensuring call cycle and sales calls are planned to maximise sales effectiveness, and the plans are aligned with the channel’s overall strategic plan.
- Ensuring our pricing policy guidelines are adhered to and managed
- Ensuring our in-store presence is delivered to the highest level across all ranges
**About you**
Along with a minimum of 2 years previous account management experience, you’ll be:
- A strategic thinker who can develop and implement business strategies to achieve higher returns and ensure continuing growth.
- Experienced in establishing, rebuilding and maintaining to a high level, relationships with customers, with a proven record of increasing sales to both existing and new client bases.
- Able to work autonomously, be flexible and agile
- Able to manage a wide range of products within the market segment
- Great at delivering strong visual and verbal presentations
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
