Nine is seeking an experienced Security officer to join our Melbourne office on a casual basis and perform standard security duties including monitoring access controls, fire alarms, tenancy patrols, report writing and more

Day to day you will:

- Handle emergency control from the Security Control Room and manage traffic.
- Maintain OHS-related spreadsheets and reports (incident hazards, training registers, induction records, etc.).
- Ensure site inductions are completed before authorising entry.
- Uphold Security policies and procedures under the supervision of the Security Manager.
- Manage mail (receive, sort, deliver) and handle suspect or unidentifiable items.
- Build rapport and provide support to Nine Management, employees and visitors

**Qualifications** What we would like to see**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Security Officer
- Strong customer service skills
- Security Guard Level 3
- Powers of arrest, crowd control and First Aid
- Knowledge of OHS standards and requirements
- Awareness of site-specific policies, procedures and challenges
