John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella will soon commence design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package.

With a contract worth $1.63 billion, the Eastern Tunnelling Package includes construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. Starting at The Bays, tunnel boring machines will cross the Harbour near the Anzac Bridge, before heading to the new Pyrmont station and then under Darling Harbour before reaching Hunter Street in the heart of the CBD. This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.

**The Role**:
**Occupational Hygienist Graduate**
- Provide occupational hygiene services and guidance.
- Support the implementation of the projects health monitoring program.
- Assist with conducting occupational high-risk assessments, monitoring, sampling and analysis as well as field observations.
- Support the implementation of the Hygiene Management Plans.
- Assist with the preparation of high-quality reports weekly / monthly.
- Assist the Project Occupational Hygienist in audits and in the investigation and close out of any non-conformances.
- Support health hygiene training/workshops, assessments and inductions for the project and assist cross-training from other disciplines in the WHS practice.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A bachelor’s degree in occupation hygienist health.
- Passionate about health & safety
- A strong knowledge in occupational health.
- Construction white card.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic and busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the project.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
