You will be representing premium brands that have been successfully distributed for many years in Australia. The company has a dedicated sales management team with years of experience. The organisation provides great technical support to the sales team out in the field, with several long-serving employers with considerable knowledge within the business.

**Your responsibilities**
- Sales to a broad range of trade outlets and independents within the building industry
- Grow the product portfolio in your territory
- Execute marketing and promotion opportunities
- Training distributors on products, sales opportunities for their customers and features and benefits
- Maintain a regular call cycle and business plan for the territory
- Gain increased product distribution within stores
- Negotiations with store managers and business owners
- Some regional travel is required as part of this role
- The site calls as required to builders and trades on site
- Consulting calls to architects and electrical engineers as required
- End user sales to builders, contractors and government institutions
- Effective use of CRM

**Your skills & experience**
- Demonstrate an ability to obtain sales via tenacity and consultative selling
- Previous experience selling to trade stores and retail hardware
- Comfortable speaking to relevant decision-makers
- Proven track record of sales success and exceeding sales targets
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to see an opportunity and do something about it
- Exposure to electrical, plumbing or hardware industries would be well regarded
