Our Financial Markets division is the centre of Financial Markets expertise for NSW, acting as the State’s Central Financing Authority, funding and managing the NSW debt portfolio, providing advice and financial solutions and enabling local governments to access appropriate debt and investment products.

Reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet, the Liquidity Manager’s responsibilities will span liquidity management, portfolio performance, market intelligence and operational efficiency, in particular:

- managing liquidity of TCorp’s Balance Sheet within the Liquidity Policy, including funding the day to day cash requirements and planning for future maturities
- managing TCorp’s short term debt programmes (Promissory Notes and Euro-Commercial Paper)
- managing liquid assets on TCorp’s Balance Sheet to maximise the risk profile
- providing short term loan and asset pricing to TCorp’s debt clients
- providing market intelligence to the wider TCorp businesses
- managing interest rate risk out to 2 years

To excel in this role you will have advanced analytical and quantitative skills; high level logical and lateral thinking skills; a track record of interest rate risk management expertise; strong problem-solving skills; and high attention to detail and process.
