**Job Summary**
You will be a part of a team of liquidity risk professionals who contribute to RBC’s control framework and influence the operating model. You will be analysing liquidity metrics and preparing reporting for key internal and regulatory stakeholders. This role provides exposure to several business leaders and allows you to develop deeper understanding of liquidity risk and financial markets.
**What is the opportunity?**
- As a Manager in Corporate Treasury APAC, you will be a part of a team of liquidity risk professionals who contribute to RBC’s control framework and influence the operating model. You will be analysing liquidity metrics and preparing reporting for key internal and regulatory stakeholders. This role provides exposure to several business leaders and allows you to develop deeper understanding of liquidity risk and financial markets.
**What will you do?**
- Perform regulatory and internal liquidity measurement reporting and analysis using recognised reporting tools
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of internal and regulatory liquidity requirements across the APAC region
- Build an understanding of liquidity risk profiles of several financial products
- Support communications with regulators and central banks as required
- Prepare or contribute to papers presented to senior management committees
- Support delivery of a diverse range of projects spanning liquidity & funding, interest rate risk and balance sheet optimization
- Support system and process changes, including thorough involvement in user acceptance testing to enable high quality deliverables
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- Strong understanding of financial markets products, businesses and strategies
- Excellent written / oral communication skills
- Analytical, strategic mind-set and enjoy problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Be able to manage competing priorities effectively & efficiently
- Undergraduate degree in commerce/finance
**Nice-to-have**
- Proficiency with technology (Tableau, VBA, SQL)
- Knowledge of RBC financial systems and associated procedures
