About the Client:

Located in Brisbane CBD's vibrant Eagle Street Precinct, they offer a permanent, full-time position with exposure to a wide range of exciting mining and infrastructure projects across Australia, including roads, rail, light rail, defence, mining, and renewables.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Development (QS), Construction Management, or an equivalent relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience
- Proficiency in detailed measurement (MTO), bills of quantities, cost planning, and cost estimating
- Competency with on-screen take-offs prepared in Costx or an equivalent tool.
- Familiarity with industry-recognized measurement standards (e.g., ANZSMM, AS1181, DTMR Estimating Manual, etc.).
- Methodical approach to quantity surveying, ensuring clear and easily understandable material take-offs.
- Knowledge of estimating software such as Expert Estimator, Candy, CATS, or equivalent (desirable).
- Understanding of quality assurance and work health and safety procedures and policies.
- Experience with extracting quantities from model files (BIM/Digital Engineering) is a plus.
