**The Role**
The Quality Assurance Unit assures the quality of all ministerial advice and correspondence provided by Defence to the Deputy Prime Minister. An interesting and varied role that provides a unique insight into the diverse range of functions Defence undertakes.

In this role, you will be required to:

- Review, edit and quality assure a range of ministerial submissions, briefs and correspondence;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve editorial outcomes;
- Resolve editorial issues using pragmatism, expertise and teamwork; and
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders across Defence.

**About our Team**
The Quality Assurance Unit is a small Canberra-based team within Strategic Priorities Branch, Governance Group. The team works on both the Defence Protected Network and Defence Secret Network.
