**The opportunity**

To support our growth within the QLD region, we’re looking for a Solutions Specialist with a balance of strong technical competence and excellent communication skills.

Reporting to the QLD Sales Manager, you will support external customers including major clients, consultants, and channel partners to improve the quality, speed, and consistency of technical communication within the Security business. To support your work with external customers, you will also build strong relationships with a wide variety of our Security team including BDMs, Technical Help Desk, Technical Staff and our Training and Operations Managers, collaborating with and supporting them.

There will be a strong focus on consultant support, product specification, compliance statements, tender responses along with improvement of presentation and demonstration tools that will assist the region in implementing agreed strategies that drive profitable growth in the business.

Please note this is a fully remote role so you will require a suitable home office set up and it will involve some travel.

- Be an excellent communicator written and verbal: Including the development of appropriately pitched communications
- Provide technical sales support to the Gallagher BDMs to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised
- Pro-actively provide technical support, education and assistance to Gallagher partners, specifiers and product users
- Communicate with our existing client base to ensure retention and growth; understand and anticipate how our solutions can meet their changing business needs
- Identify and build new relationships with key industry influences
- Have a growth mindset, committed to personal and team growth and have a real desire to continue your own personal development

**Key skills and experience required**
- You need to hold a current security license or have the ability to gain a security license and clearance
- 5 years+ experience in security systems or an information technology environment
- Knowledge and experience with Gallagher products (highly desired)
- Project management experience
- Security Systems installation experience
- Operating in a resource constrained environment (highly desirable)
